Cakes by Nina - Terms and Conditions

When you place an order with us you will receive an order form, which is three pages for cakes, and one page for afternoon teas, within that form is listed all our terms and conditions and on accepting to place an order with us you understand that you have read and agreed to all the terms set out in your order forms. On the top of your order form you will be given a specific collection time.

We never claim to copy a design exactly unless it is our own, we always will do our own interpretation of a design as we have our own unique style.

With reference to figures, if you have sent over a photo Cakes by Nina never claims to do a replica of the said person or persons we will do a caricature based on that photo.

If we do not receive booking fee or full payment within three days of you receiving your order we will presume you no longer wish the order, unfortunately due to high demands we can not hold slots without this payment and do not have the luxury of time to chase people.

Full and final payment is due three days before collection unless otherwise agreed. We no longer accept final payment on the day of collection.

Our Deposit/Booking fee is dependent on the cake design and this not only secures your date so no one else can take it, it also enables us to purchase some items for your order, we never sit on deposits so as to avoid a mad panic near your day.

This Deposit/Booking is non refundable and you agree to understand this when booking with us.

Cakes by Nina reserves the right to cancel an order under extreme circumstances.

Once booking fee is received you have entered a contract with us and you have agreed to reading our terms and conditions, should the order be completely cancelled by the client the booking fee is non refundable, or transferable to another order due to the fact we do not sit on deposits we use them in advance to get boards, boxes, icing and start to making decorations required for that specific order. We may not be able to fill the slot again so its loss of revenue . Cakes by Nina can not be held responsible for any damages occurred in transit if we haven’t set up and delivered the cake. Also Cakes by Nina can not be held responsible for melting cakes if sufficient cooling arrangements have not been made in extreme temperatures.

All decorations are fragile and should be treated as such and though sugar flowers, models and decorations are classed as edible they are not because of the wire or supports used within them.

Collection of you cake is via our garage and you will be given a specific time slot to come, please adhere to your time slot so as to avoid cross over of collections. We do not recommend transporting cakes on someones lap or on bucket seats, the best place to travel with them is in the boot of the car on a non slip mate, this stops all distractions whilst driving and also helps to keep the radiant sun off your cake. Cakes by Nina holds no responsibility should any damages occur during transit. on their laps, we hold no responsibility if your cake gets damaged in transport.

Collection only from the address on your order unless otherwise organised and this would be an additional cost.

On hotter days we recommend you avoid radiant heat from your windows even with aircon on as this can melt your cake.

If any decorations should accidentally fall off melted white chocolate is a great glue.

If you have an life threatening allergy we will not take on your order, thank you for your understanding.
